BACKGROUND | Tamara is a Senior Portfolio Manager at TD Wealth Private Investment Counsel who works within The Bonn Gasic Group Wealth Management Team in Victoria, BC. Tamara manages portfolios on a discretionary basis for high-net-worth families, trusts, corporations and charitable organizations. Tamara works with clients to build customized equity and fixed income portfolios with a focus on optimizing after-tax and after-fee returns. Within her role, she is passionate about building and maintaining long-term, meaningful relationships with her clients that are built on trust, transparency and sound advice.  Tamara leads a four-person team that aims to provide an exceptional client experience at all times. 

Prior to joining TD Wealth, Tamara spent a decade working at some of the largest asset management firms where she built a strong understanding of the financial services industry and the business of capital markets. Her diverse experience has shaped her perspective and investment philosophy today, bringing invaluable knowledge to her clients. 

Over the years, Tamara has spent a considerable amount of time in the community as a mentor to young men and women. In 2016, Tamara Co-Founded Women in Capital Markets Victoria and led a diverse steering committee of professionals. In 2018, Tamara was recognized as one of the Women in Capital Markets Emerging Leaders. She has been asked to speak at universities, schools and within her organization over the years to share her experience and inspire others to enter the industry. 

Tamara is a new mother and enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends and her Labrador Retriever. She enjoys exploring Vancouver Island by sea and appreciates fine cooking and non-fiction books.
