Mr. Yuen joined Canada Trust retail banking in 1992 in Brandon, Manitoba and moved into TD Wealth Private Investment Counsel in 1996 in our Kelowna, British Columbia centre. His previous financial positions include Account Manager, Client Service Associate, and Tax Preparer. Michael joined the Calgary, Alberta team in 2002 and has more than 20 years of investment industry experience.

In his role, Michael is responsible for the discretionary investment management and administrative oversight of his high net worth clients. He assesses client investment objectives and guidelines prior to developing detailed Investment Policy Statements that balance risk tolerance with return requirements. Meeting client investment needs and managing relationships are an integral part of his role. He is presently responsible for the design and delivery of distinctive investment management solutions for clients in Calgary and throughout Alberta.
 
Michael is a graduate of Assiniboine Community College where he was awarded the Lieutenant Governor's Medal, has completed the Canadian Securities Course and a number of other courses through the Canadian Securities Institute. To develop his foundational knowledge he has earned the Canadian Investment Management (CIM), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Calgary CFA Society.
Michael is also involved in regular volunteer work with Junior Achievement.
